Terms of use
Last updated 25 October 2026
These terms
These terms cover the DaintyFocus app, this website and the DaintyFocus account service, all run by Daintymindz. By using any of them you agree to these terms. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.
The service
DaintyFocus is free. The app and the timer on this website work without an account. An account is optional and adds backup, sync between your devices, and publishing presets.
We may change, pause or stop any part of the service, including the account service. If we plan to stop the account service, we will tell you in advance where we can, so you can keep what you need. Your presets and history stay on your phone either way.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older to make an account.
- Give a real email address you can reach, and keep access to it and to your devices safe.
- You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app (Account › Delete my account).
What you make
Your presets are yours. To back them up and sync them, we store and copy them on your behalf, and nothing more.
If you publish a preset, you let anyone view it, copy it and use it, and you let us show it on a public page with your display name, if you set one. You can unpublish it at any time; copies people already made stay with them.
Fair use
Do not:
- publish anything unlawful, hateful, sexual, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights, including in a preset's name or cue text;
- use someone else's account or email address;
- try to get around our limits or security, or overload, probe or disrupt the service;
- use the service to send spam or to collect other people's data.
We may take down a published preset, or suspend or close an account, that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you why.
No guarantees
We work hard to make DaintyFocus reliable, but we provide it as it is. Phones can delay or block alarms and notifications (for example to save battery), and browsers slow down timers in background tabs. Do not rely on DaintyFocus alone for anything where a missed or late alert could cause harm, such as medication or safety.
As far as the law allows, Daintymindz is not liable for losses that come from using, or being unable to use, DaintyFocus. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law that cannot be taken away.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change matters. If you keep using DaintyFocus after that, the new terms apply.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Questions, complaints and reports of published presets that break these rules: hello@daintymindz.com.
